Dante Lives On sponsors many events for the enjoyment of the community. Primary among these is the Annual Reunion and Festival, a day-long event on the second Saturday in August. The Reunion features a pot-luck meal at noon, continuous live music and clogging on the stage, local crafts, and, of course, a great opportunity to renew old friendships. DLO also has musicians performing every Friday night on the outdoor stage during good weather and holds a monthly open-mic jam on the first Friday in the Clinchfield office building during the winter. Members sell hot dogs and baked goods from time to time to raise money for projects, and are always present to welcome the annual Santa Train on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
